Fragrancing your home naturally, and magickal benefits

Simmer pots... Simmering potpourri.

Simmering herbs over the stove is an age old tradition, steeped heavily in folklore. It is an age old tradition which has been passed down with each generation. Gathering your own herbs is an ancient practice and Herbal lore was sacred to those who practiced. Not only were these herbs used for fragrance, cooking, and tea but also for burning in incense, smudging, smoking, added to pouches for talismans dressing candles and so much more.

Why not collect some herbs of choice and do the same. Not only do you fragrance your home naturally and omit the chemically infused concoctions, you can create your own signature blends. The modern witch today doesn't always have to collect their herbs from the wilderness as this isn't always feasible, especially if you live in the city. Here are a couple of choices, find yourself a reputable online supplier (don't forget to check out our herb selection instore ;) , or go to your local supermarket and head for the herb/spice section.

All you have to do is gather your ingredients together mix them up in a bowl with your hands or use a pestle and mortar further infusing the herbs with male and female energies, whilst visualising your specific intent. Charge the herbs with the energies that are required, and add to simmering water... and that's it! your home will smell wonderful, and depending on the blend, it can uplift, energise, heal, protect, be used in love spells, bring prosperity and good fortune and the list can
go on...
